Eventus Legal are seeking a Commercial Property Paralegal to join a law firm based in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. This is a full-time, permanent job position offering hybrid working, 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays, life insurance, a pension plan, an Employee Assistance Programme and structured training and development opportunities. Working within a commercial property team, you will support fee earners across a varied caseload of leasehold and freehold transactions while developing your legal knowledge and contributing to a high standard of client service.

Role Responsibilities

As a Commercial Property Paralegal, you will provide practical and proactive support to fee earners while helping commercial property matters progress efficiently from instruction through to completion. Key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with a varied caseload of commercial property matters, including leasehold and freehold transactions, under supervision.
• Supporting fee earners with transaction administration, document preparation and completion processes.
• Maintaining accurate file records and keeping case management systems up to date.
• Communicating professionally with clients, colleagues and third parties to help matters progress smoothly.
• Assisting with drafting legal documents and responding to straightforward enquiries under supervision.
• Supporting client relationships and contributing to a responsive, client-focused service.
• Assisting with business development and marketing activity where appropriate.
• Supporting efficient billing and financial control through accurate administrative support.
• Taking an active part in training and development to build technical knowledge and capability within commercial property.

Person Specification
