Eventus Legal is seeking a Civil Litigation Solicitor to join an incredibly successful team within a regional law firm. The firm is easily commutable from several areas including Bromley, Sevenoaks, Croydon and Sidcup. This is a permanent full-time job which offers hybrid working. Role Responsibilities

The incoming Civil Litigation Solicitor will join a leading law firm specialising in providing comprehensive legal services to their client base. With a commitment to excellence and a client-centric approach, you will strive to deliver tailored legal solutions that meet the unique needs of each client. Your duties within this legal job will include:

  • Providing a high-quality service to clients, advising on a range of civil litigation matters including debt claims, contract claims, landlord and tenant disputes, and property issues
  • Interviewing clients to take instructions
  • Advising clients and discussing plans and progress and keeping them fully informed about their matter
  • Keeping client and matter files in good order and ensuring that all information is recorded thoroughly and accurately
  • Dealing with clients’ queries and problems promptly and efficiently, either face-to-face or on the telephone
  • Complying with quality standards set and with departmental procedures, when handling all matters
  • Supporting the growth of the department by being actively involved with business development

Person Specification

My client is seeking a candidate who is able to demonstrate experience (3 PQE) practising in Civil Litigation, preferably within a reputable law firm or legal department. You will also be able to demonstrate:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts in a clear and concise manner
  • Positive and professional, with a client focused approach
  • Excellent collaborative skills, a great team player.
