Eventus Legal are seeking an experienced Childcare Solicitor to join a growing successful team based in the Bedford & Hertfordshire region. Role responsibilities
The incoming Childcare Solicitor will form an important part of the team, overseeing due diligence to legal aid applications and CCMs procedures. You will be providing technical expertise and guidance to team members and external clients, ensuring the childcare team provides a first-class, quality service. The varied caseloads will cover:
- Contact and Residence
- Adoption
- Care Proceedings
Person specification
Applications are sought from Childcare Solicitors who have desirably, their own Guardian following, (this is not essential) but in the least have their own networks across the geographical area. The successful Solicitor will have experience of working in a multi-site, fast-paced legal firm working across a variety of cases. Ideally, you will also have between 3 – 8 years’ PQE and you will have:
- A strong focus on client care
- An approachable and professional manner in dealing with sensitive matters
- High organisation skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Commercial awareness
- Excellent time management
