This is a full-time, permanent, office-based job in Birmingham, paying up to £40,000 for the right candidate. About the Role
The incoming Bookkeeper will be the person the firm relies on for its numbers. This is not a high-volume processing job. Key responsibilities include:

- Supporting month-end processes and financial reporting
- Preparing financial statements and recording journal entries
- Maintaining accurate purchase and sales ledgers
- Carrying out bank reconciliations and financial postings
- Processing invoices and payments precisely
- Managing day-to-day records and reporting through Xero
About You
This Bookkeeper job suits a formally qualified professional with a strong track record in a similar position. Confidence working within a structured, regulated setting matters more than legal sector experience, which the firm will train. You should also be able to demonstrate the following:
- A minimum of five years' relevant experience in a similar bookkeeping job

- Strong familiarity with accounting systems, with Xero experience preferred
